Uganda produces electric car prototype

Just imagine if you could produce an electric car for about $15,000, that could go about 80 miles on a single charge, and could be charged in about five hours at any old electrical socket along the way. Well, a Technology University in Uganda has figured out how, and they demonstrated their first prototype electric vehicle this past November 2011. Next up, an electric bus for the local transit system in Uganda.
